This is the temporary site for Richway Airpinch valves for brine control for road ice and snow control.
Over the next few days, we will be adding content to this site before putting it into a regular website. We welcome your comments and questions.
Richway Airpinch valves have been used for over ten years for brine control by DOT locations in Iowa, Minnesota, and other states. In some of these cases, we have supplied only the valves, with the control system being done locally. However since our experience with controlling Airpinch valves on mobile equipment dates back to 1985, we've had an increasing number of requests for control systems.
We offer simple single valve systems, as well as manifolds to provide "electric over air" interface between the valves and controllers such as those made by Raven.
In 1985 Richway introduced the pinch valve to the fertilizer application industry under the brand name Nozzle Stop. It quickly became the industry stand method of controlling individual nozzles on the large self-propelled "floater" sprayers. In the past 25 years, we have produced thousands of control systems in a variety of configurations and tens of thousands of Airpinch valves.
